From its humble beginnings as the meeting place for St. Andrew’s Scottish Society of Detroit, St. Andrew’s Hall evolved into a trendsetting iconic music club that launched legendary acts like Iggy Pop, Bob Dylan, Nirvana, and Soundgarden.

Constructed in 1907, St. Andrew’s Hall offers three versatile event spaces – a large event space with a 35-foot bar and a hardwood dance floor; the Society Room, an intimate lounge with 100-year-old windows; and the Shelter, on its lower level. Rent the entire space for an epic event for 1,000, or host up to 750 in the hall, 100 in the Society Room, or up to 400 in The Shelter.

Venue Tip

Host your event in The Shelter – the venue that launched Eminem’s career!
