OVERVIEW

Distinctive Features: Indoor, Corporate, Historical, Museum

Since its founding in 1921, the Detroit Historical Museum has been dedicated to ensuring that the history of our region is preserved so that current and future generations of metro Detroiters can better understand the people, places and events that helped shape the region. Rent the entire museum and celebrate among permanent exhibits, including the Streets of Old Detroit, that showcase the city’s first 200 years, as it grew from a French fur trading post to a major industrial center known worldwide as the Motor City. Among the museum’s permanent exhibits are the Gallery of Culture, America’s Motor City, Legends Plaza, and the Grand Trunk passenger station. Rental spaces include the Louise C. Booth Auditorium and DeRoy Conference Center. Available on-site parking accommodates 80 cars; 100 with valet service.

Venue Tip
